Give Everyone Your Autograph

Have you ever received a note or request with a missing name or date?  I often get requests but haven't a clue who they came from or who to give them back to.

Here are some helpful and thoughtful tips for the next time you leave a note or request for a co-worker:

  • Put the date on your note or request.  Trying to figure out when the note was written is just as confusing as trying to figure out who wrote the note.
  • Don't assume the person will recognize your handwriting.  There are usually three people in an office who write alike.
  • Include your last name if there is someone else in the office with the same first name.
